My name is Lauren Doherty. I am a senior and in my second year as editor-in-chief of The Courant. I am hoping to pursue journalism in college and beyond! Last summer, I interned with The Coast Star, a Jersey-shore based newspaper. Outside of class, I run cross country and track, participate in National Charity League and National Honors Society, and run the Mentors & More Club. Some of my favorite pieces I have written include "Behind the Cover" and "Black Lives Matter: 1 Year Later."
