On Mar. 19-23, the Post Prom Committee will be collecting gently used, clean, formal dresses in front of the main office from 7:30 am-2:15 pm to be donated to the Christian Community Action in Norwalk. However, New Canaan students in need of a prom dress will have first priority to the selection of dresses.

The infamous October snowstorm that left many in the dark left some questioning New Canaan’s emergency preparedness. The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is working to make the storm fall out as pain free as possible, utilizing the best possible technology for improved communication throughout the town. The next possible project? New Canaan’s very own AM radio station.

Though he is a New York Times best selling author, has been published in more than twelve languages, is the winner of the Michael L. Printz Award in 2006 and the Edgar Award in 2009, and was a Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist not once but twice, John Green is not widely known. Other authors such as J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer bring instant Potter and vampire connections to mind; but to many, John Green draws a blank. This up and coming author, however, is gaining speed and quickly making a name for himself in the young adult (YA) literature world.
