Let’s face it, school isn’t exactly easy. With homework to do, tests to study for and projects to complete, it’s nice to have the chance to challenge your mind without the results ending up on your transcript. How about by trying to connect colored dots together with pipes to fill up a board?

The app Flow Free is a puzzle game with features to accompany any type of challenge you may want to play. With 600 levels included in the free download, you can start small with a 5 x 5 easy puzzle and work up to a 9×9 hard one. The goal is to connect like colored dots together while also touching every grid on the board. The challenge is really in the fact that you can’t cross pipes or they break. Rather beat the clock instead of the size of the game board? There’s a time trial feature in which you can try to connect the dots in four minutes, two minutes, one minute or even 30 seconds. There’s also a special 8 x 8 puzzle section for those not quite ready to try to complete the hardest size.

Before you sharpen your pencil for another worksheet, sharpen your mind in an entertaining way. And a fair warning, it will be hard to resist hitting the next button. Available for free for Apple and Android devices.
