This week, sophomores, juniors, and seniors enrolled in AP courses are required to register for the Advanced Placement Tests. The exams are scheduled to take place from May 5 until May 16. Registration for the AP tests is available in the College and Career Center everyday this week until Friday, Feb. 28. For each test, students need checks for $95.00, which can be made out to NCHS School Counseling. If a student is late to register, the last possible registration date is Mar. 3. The late registration fee is $30.00 per test. Before the exams, all AP students have to attend one of the three pre-registration sessions held on Apr. 22, 23 or 24. The sessions will be from 2:15 to 3:00 pm in the NCHS cafeteria. Any questions regarding registration can be fielded to Susan Carroll in the College and Career Center at 594 4664, and all questions about the tests themselves can be directed to Cynthia Rivera at cynthia.rivera@ncps-k12.org or Lori Keen at lori.keen@ncps-k12.org. For additional information about the AP tests, visit the College Board website.
