Twitter is used as a social media web-site for saying what is on your mind, getting the latest celebrity gossip and following famous people who we look up to. But now, our library has implemented Twitter into freshmen’s routine of schoolwork and getting up to date on school news.

Trading clubs for frisbees: Disc golf club uncovered
Driving along South Avenue, New Canaan residents are used to the familiar sightings of Saxe middle school, the YMCA, and the Waveny Park entrance. However, few notice the entrance to the disc golf course in Waveny, one of the many courses established in the Fairfield county area. Even upon hearing the words “disc golf,” many are still left confused. “The club fair was the first time I had even heard of the sport,” junior Christina Donovan said. “I wasn’t even aware that we had a course.”

October pep rally on Dunning to cap spirit week
During the week of Oct. 22, students will be participating in Color for a Cause Day, High Society Day, Costume Day, Turn Back the Clock Day, and Red and Black day in order to celebrate Spirit Week. The Student Coalition and administration have organized the week.
