At last, a revival of NCHS’s 2011 blog classic, 10 Things I Love, 10 Things I Hate. The 10 year anniversary of this blog was hit a mere four months ago and immediately, former journalist, Ankita and I picked it up and knew it had to be brought back. Unfortunately, we have lost a brave soldier on this noble mission (RIP Ankita), but Aaron will have to do as a replacement (Ankita I will never forgive you). We might not be Gogo Jones or Kate Gilhool, but hopefully, our humor can rival that of our journalism predecessors. Without further adieu, enjoy our questionable list of 10 things we love, and 10 things we hate.

10 things I love (Zoe):

1. Sleeping in, getting Starbucks, and still making it to school on time
2. When the librarians don’t ask you to check in when your studying in the library
3. Watching Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World for the fourth time in a week and realizing that maybe life isn’t that bad
4. When Abbie’s rat dog makes weird faces
5. Remembering my old IPod Shuffle and feeling nostalgic 
6. Driving home in the middle of the night listening to ancient Childish Gambino Soundcloud songs
7. Avery’s odd facial expressions
8. Watching a Basketball game, but having no idea what is going on 
9. When awkward silence occurs so the only proper thing to say is LOL
10. When my mom goes to Trader Joe’s and gets everything I like without me even asking 

10 things I hate (Aaron):

1. People who shake their Starbucks drinks aggressively in class
2. The traffic light on the bottom of Jelliff Mill road
3. Sinks that turn on too aggressively and ruin your shirt
4. The Last Jedi (I will argue this to the grave)
5. People who say the test was easy after everyone else did horrible
6. The stickiness to all the school laptops
7. The god-awful sound the mousepads in the journalism classroom make
8. When people start laughing hysterically when presenting in class despite the presentation not being funny
9. People who do that weird bouncing thing when they walk ( if you do this please reach out to me and tell me why)
