Campbell Armstrong, Sports Editor @CarmCourant This season the boys basketball team wrapped up with a 3-12 record with the help of co-captain and leading scorer Tyler Sweeney. The team has struggled generating wins throughout the season. The boys have been competitive in many of their games, but have not been able to score enough to win. The Rams dominated during their game against Trinity Catholic on January 17th, resulting in a 64-57 win. With a record of 9-5, Trinity qualified for 7th place in FCIACS which starts next week. Molly Keshin, Editor-in-Chief @mollykCourant Coming off of a 2-0 loss in a highly-anticipated matchup against the Greenwich Cardinals in the FCIAC semifinals on February 22, the girls’ hockey team was looking to continue their season in the opening round of States against rival Darien. In the regular season, the Rams fell to the Wave in a 6-0 rout on January 16, and suffered a 4-0 loss to Darien on February 13, and strove to avenge these losses yesterday at Darien Ice House. Boys’ basketball falls in close game to Norwalk Bears

Campbell Armstrong, Sports Editor @CarmCourant On Wednesday, February 1st, the boys basketball team, led by senior co-captains Tyler Sweeney and Mike Svagdis, fell to the Norwalk Bears 43-42. While the boys were able to work together and push each other to grab many points in the first half, their second half effort was not enough to top Norwalk’s team.  With a score of 21-19 at the half, the Rams were hopeful to stay in the lead and pull out their fourth win. As for senior Anton Adding, he wasn’t just coming from a different school district – he was coming from a different country.
